For over 6 years, Gisel Castell lived a double life. By day, she solved problems as an industrial engineer, focusing on structure, logic, and processes. By night, she closed her laptop and created dresses following her intuition. Not for business, but for fun.
In some boutiques in Cartagena, she discovered something that changed her understanding of fashion: resort wear was not just beach clothing; it was a sophisticated and colorful way of life. This discovery, along with two significant moves—from Venezuela to Mexico and then, after 10 years, to Miami—led her to a question she could no longer postpone: What am I going to create now?

GISEL CASTELL was born from that question, not as a career change but as an integration. Gisel believes that fashion can be a vehicle to remember who we are, and designs each piece so that, years later, it still evokes the same emotion as the day it accompanied an important memory. She doesn't make clothes to fill a closet. She makes them to occupy a place in your memory.
